Guarantee Engineer


Guarantee Engineer (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities:

  • Contact person onboard for all stakeholders of the warranty process
  • Organize claim related work with yard and suppliers as well as coordinate the services of the suppliers onboard in cooperation with ship departments
  • Support the crew in finding and creation of claims and respective information collection and processing
  • Maintain and update the claim management system by close follow-up of all warranty related correspondence in addition to clarifying any open remarks onboard
  • Regular reporting to CEN and ashore Warranty Department on the onboard claims as well as continuous follow-up and support in resolving of those claims, which includes the receipt of new as well as the shipment of damaged parts
  • Support shore management with any ad-hoc reporting as needed


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor of Science or polytechnic degree in technical studies
  • Preferably minimum of 6 months professional technical experience in industry, ideally in marine/cruise industry and/or guarantee and/or maintenance sector, as well as experience in junior leadership
  • Fluent oral and written English language and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office as well as financial understanding
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as a high degree of result orientation and good communication skills
